El Monumento
Sourcing the freshest ingredients available, El Monumento serves home-style, made-from-scratch Mexican fare. El Monumento’s extensive daily menu includes a variety of quintessential Mexican Aperitivos, such as the Campechana Cocktail, a combination of Texas gulf shrimp, crab meat, tomatoes, green olives and lime juice; and Queso Flameado, a blend of melted quesadilla and Oaxacan cheese, poblano peppers and caramelized onions. An assortment of traditional-style soups, salads and Rotisserie Chicken served with rice, beans, tortillas and escabeche, round out the appetizer menu.

Monument Market
All roads lead to the Monument . . . or at least that’s what you may think when you arrive at this classic roadside cafe located in beautiful Georgetown, Texas. It might seem like the town’s entire population is here during any given day, and that’s because the locals know a good thing when they taste it, and we hope you’ll agree. So step on in, slide on up to our counter, order up a fresh-brewed glass of iced tea and explore this unique cafe in the heart of Texas.

Fish City Grill
Founded in 1995 by Bill and Lovett Bayne, the Half Shells and Fish City Grill brands operate as Neighborhood Ventures, Inc., headquartered in Dallas. Its restaurants are focused on fresh seafood in a casual neighborhood environment. Fish City Grill & Half Shells remain connected to and involved in the local communities and believe that a true neighborhood restaurant belongs to the people. Texas locations include Dallas, Arlington, Irving, Flower Mound, Garland, Southlake, Tyler, Katy, Pearland, Houston, Georgetown, and San Antonio, with a Richardson/Cityline location coming soon.

Longhorn Steakhouse
Born of fire, tested by ice, confirmed by legions of loyal guests each day, LonghHorn Steakhouse has grown to become the undisputed home for great steak done right. Founded in 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia, the restaurant began with one man’s passion for perfect steak but had very few guests to convince. Then a freak snowstorm hit Atlanta in 1982, stranding motorists and drawing them to one of the only hospitable places available – a restaurant then called LongHorn Steaks Restaurant & Saloon. Tales of expertly grilled steaks soon spread like wildfire, and the legend of LongHorn was born.

Wildfire
USDA aged prime beef seared over oak logs, bison, veal, ostrich, duck, lamb, pork, tuna, salmon and shrimp – along with superb side dishes, appetizers and mouth watering delicious deserts. Full bar and excellent wine selections.

Rules/ FAQ’s

kidsBalls will be dropped from an extended ladder of a Georgetown fire truck to a two- staged platform with five (5) “holes.” Each hole will be numbered one through five with the Grand Prize being Hole #1.

Chances of winning are dependent upon the number of balls sold. The number of balls availablefor sale is 28,000. When ball(s) are purchased online, the software system will randomly assign ball numbers to the purchaser. When a donor furnishes an email address, the assigned numbers will be sent to the email address provided. This email will also act as a receipt and will serve as proof of a tax deductible donation. All numbered balls, whether assigned by the system or not, will be dropped on the Sunday of the Red Poppy Festival.

The Festival is now scheduled for April 22 – 24, 2016 (weather permitting). The date of the drop is Sunday, April 24, 2016. If the Red Poppy Festival dates are changed due to weather, the Sunday of the Festival will be the drop date.

Cancellation: If for any reason beyond the control of the Kiwanis Club of Sun City Georgetown (such as weather conditions) and the Red Poppy Festival is not conducted in 2016, the Kiwanis Club of Sun City Georgetown reserves the right to determine the winner of the One in the Hole by a random selection method.

Eligibility: A purchaser or anyone to whom a purchaser legally transfers a ball number must be 18 years of age or older at time of purchase/transfer. Purchaser may enter more than once and need not be a resident of the State of Texas or must they be present to win. Only one (1) individual may be identified as an entry owner. After purchase, participants will be assigned a numbered ball and receive an email with their ball number(s). This email serves as a tax donation receipt.

By entering the One in the Hole event, the purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of, and agrees to abide by the One in the Hole Rules. Odds of winning depend on the number of golf balls sold, as well as where they land when dropped.

Only one (1) individual may be identified as an entry owner. At the time of purchase the entrant will be assigned random ball(s) number(s). Entries may be made by online purchase or cash.

Should the numbered ball(s) in any of the five (5) winning holes be a number that has not been sold, the next that does not exceed the number in the respective hole, will be declared the winning ball. Example: Ball in the hole is 10,178 and that number has not been sold and the next highest number sold is 10,177 – then 10,177 shall be declared the winner. Ball numbers sold that are 10,179 or higher will not be eligible for that prize. The winning ball numbers will be determined by Chief of Police Wayne Nero, Georgetown Police Department.
